What is Housingnet?


Housingnet is an online community of people with disability and housing providers working together to create accessible housing options.


Web application of Housingnet is a great way for people with disability to find suitable housing. As well as featuring homes from a range of housing providers, Housingnet has a various useful information about housing options and planning your living at home.


If an accessible property to lease in the NDIS provider program, Housingnet is the way to connect with suitable NDIS participant to existing SIL, SDA properties or new SDA builds...


The anther part of Housingnet majority services are connecting the mass of health care services to disable people communities. These services are most concentrated with allied healths professionals and specialists such as Occupational Therapist, Speech pathologist, Nutritionist, Dietitian, Physiotherapist,....



How to login as a Housingnet member?


Before getting started, you’ll need to sign up for an account at Housingnet. Once you’ve opened the official link of Housingnet community, you can start creating your account by following steps:


Step 1:

In the Home Page, click on the “Be a member” button in the Header.

Then,


Step 2:

Choose one of the 3 user types you want to join.


3 options to be a member at Housingent, be a tenant, be a house provider or be a health care provider
Choose your suitable type of user


If you are a person supported by the NDIS program or you would like to refer a person with a disability who is already covered by the NDIS program (It is important that you have the NDIS_Number provided) select the first box to sign up as a member of Housingnet as a tenant

Next,


Step 3:

Fill out the form and click “Next” button to move to the next step

enter your email address to be a username and enter your password

In this step you will be asked to enter the email you want to register as an account at Housingnet. Furthermore, you are required to be careful with your password. Housingnet has intentionally made it necessary for you to enter a password with special characters along with numbers to avoid easy theft.












Step 4:

Fill out the “Referrer Details” (if any) and Participant Information.

You will be asked to enter the necessary information relevant to confirming your membership in the NDIS program. This information will be important parts for Housingnet management to review and approve this registration.



Step 5:

Read and confirm your agreement with the terms and conditions before registering as a member.


There is a checkbox available for you after reading and being acknowledgement every Terms of use from Housingnet.

As usual, before registering personal information with any application platform, you also need to carefully read the Terms of usage and privacy policies. You must read these conditions carefully before deciding to participate in using the application on Housingnet. After reviewing all conditions, you will have the option to click on the box to agree to storing the necessary information to continue the registration process.


Step 6:

Confirm the email used as Username is currently in use.

An announcement of sending a confirm email to you

A notification will inform you that Housingnet has sent you an email to confirm that your email is in use, to avoid registering the wrong email address.


Step 7:

Open your email and click to Confirm Email Address


You are required to click to button of "Confirm Email Address" to verify this email address is available in use
Reference of a certain email send from Housingnet.

Open the email browser you use as your username and check for unread received emails or sometimes it is also found in the spam box.


Once found, click on the button below the "Confirm email address" email to confirm with Housingnet that this email is being used as the username to log into Housingnet later.



Step 8: Receive confirmation email from Housingnet.


What you need to do is done, now just need to wait for notification from Housingnet.


You will receive a notification that your information has been sent to Housingnet. And within a certain period of time to verify all of your registered information, Housingnet will send a notification to your email about activating your account at Housingnet.


When you receive a successful registration email, you will have the right to log in to your account at Housingnet.


End by this step, you will complete registration as a participant (tenant) at Housingnet.
